Basics/The portal

The portal

The portal has three parts, always in the same place: navigation on the left, your work in the middle, and Lexey on the right.

Navigation

The rail on the left holds the areas of the portal:

  • Home — A briefing on your agent: today's conversations, the QA trend, what needs your attention and your recent conversations with Lexey.
  • Conversations — Every customer conversation, with filters, transcripts and quality findings.
  • Knowledge — Your knowledge articles, and Diagnostics, which shows the gaps customers have run into.
  • Agent — How your agent behaves: business context, tone and style, business rules, skills, theme and branding, and the Test Lab and change history.
  • Channels — Where customers reach your agent: embed and share, API access and a full-size preview.
  • Settings — Your account: billing, profile, the legal pages and these docs.

Each area lists its items or sections on the left and shows the one you pick beside it.

Lexey

Lexey sits on the right of every area, so you never have to leave your work to use it. It has two tabs:

  • Lexey — Talk to Lexey to change your agent. Lexey sees what you have open, so you can ask about "this conversation" or "this article" without looking up an ID.
  • Preview — Chat with your agent as a customer would, to try out a change.

Buttons such as Fix with Lexey, Review with Lexey, Improve with Lexey and Edit with Lexey open Lexey beside the thing you're working on, already looking at it.

Where there's nothing selected (Home, or Conversations and Knowledge before you pick an item), Lexey widens and suggests next steps based on your data. You can fold Lexey away, or widen and narrow it, and the portal remembers your choice for each area.

Moving between conversations with Lexey

When you move to another area or pick a different item, Lexey starts a fresh conversation and offers Continue where you left off. When Lexey takes you somewhere, for example with Open on something it just changed, the conversation carries on, and a Back to chip takes you back. The thread menu at the top of the Lexey pane lists your recent conversations with Lexey, and New conversation starts a new one.

On a phone

On a phone the rail becomes a tab bar along the bottom (Home, Conversations, Knowledge, Agent and More for Channels and Settings), and the Lexey button at the top opens Lexey as a sheet.
