Answer enquiries and quote requests after hours

Lexey answers questions on your website at any hour, using what your website already says. When someone wants a quote or needs a person, it takes their details and emails the request to your inbox, so you start the day with everything you need and no helpdesk to run.

Do you do a deal if we buy 12 bikes for our couriers?
Tidewell CyclesAI
We do quote larger orders, and the team prices each one. Can I take your name and email so they can send it over?
Sam, sam@example.com. We need them by March.
Tidewell CyclesAI
Thanks, Sam. I've passed your request to the team, March date included.
Passed to the team. They'll follow up with you.
How it works

How it handles an enquiry

The same three steps whether it's 2pm or 2am.

What time does the workshop open on Saturday?
Tidewell CyclesAI
From 8am on Saturdays. You can drop your bike off any time before noon.
01

Answers from your website

Lexey learns your business from your website and the articles you add, so it answers the everyday questions that would otherwise wait for the morning.

Can you quote 12 bikes for our couriers?
Tidewell CyclesAI
Happy to. What's your name and email, and when do you need them?
02

Takes the details you'd ask for

When someone wants a quote or a call back, it asks for what your team needs: name and email, and any of phone, company, order number or your own questions.

From Lexey09:41
[Escalation] Wants a quote for 12 fleet bikes — sam@example.com
Sam runs a delivery firm and asked about bulk pricing. Contact details are in the conversation.
03

Emails the request to you

Each hand-over arrives as an email with a clear subject, the customer's details and the whole conversation, so you can follow up from the inbox you already use.

What happens when it can't answer

The agent answers only from what you've taught it. When the answer isn't there, it says so rather than guessing and offers to take the customer's details for your team. A separate check reviews each reply afterwards and flags anything your content doesn't back up, so you can see the gap and fill it.

Where it isn't the right fit

Lexey doesn't hand a live chat over to a person mid-conversation; your team follows up by email. If you already run a support team that works tickets in a helpdesk, a tool built around that helpdesk may suit you better.

Questions

Common questions

What details does it collect from customers?
You choose. It can ask for a name, email, phone number, company or order number, and your own questions, such as an address or the dates a customer needs.
Where do quote requests go?
To the email address you set. Each one has a subject like "[Escalation] Wants a quote for 12 fleet bikes — sam@example.com", the customer's details and the full conversation. You can also send hand-overs to other tools with webhooks.
Do I need a helpdesk or a shared inbox?
No. Lexey is built for businesses that don't run one. Hand-overs arrive in the email inbox you already use.
What do I need to set it up?
Your website address and an email inbox. Lexey reads your site, asks a few questions about how you work and has an agent ready in minutes. You add it to your site with one line of code, or share a link to a hosted chat page.
